We are looking for a biochemistry/chemical-biology/biophysics postdoctoral researcher to work in Aditi Das’s laboratory on the NIH-supported project: Biochemical Mechanism of Eicosanoid Synthesizing Enzymes.
The projects will involve biochemical investigation of the metabolism of lipids and minor cannabinoids by human cytochrome P450s. Furthermore, the project will involve evaluating the interactions of lipid metabolites and minor cannabinoids with cannabinoid receptors.
This highly dynamic post-doctoral position is for one-year renewable to three years and more depending on the availability of funds.
- PhD degree in biochemistry, biophysics or chemistry (chemical biology) with at least one first author publication
- Knowledge of protein expression and purification is required.

- Expertise in basic mammalian cell culture and assays is desired.
The candidate is expected to be detail-oriented, highly organized, strong analytical skills with the ability to plan and have ownership of tasks to fruition.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $48,000.00-50,000 per year with full benefits or commensurate with experience.
