The Danish Advanced Research Academy (DARA) is inviting accomplished international academics to serve as reviewers for its 2025 PhD Fellowship Programme. This global initiative is designed to support the next generation of researchers tackling critical societal challenges through scientific innovation, interdisciplinarity, and international collaboration.
🔬 Reviewer Domains Needed:
- Bioscience and Biomedicine
- Natural and Technical Sciences
- Biotechnology
- Data and Computer Science
💡 Eligibility:
- Must hold the rank of Associate Professor or higher (or equivalent seniority)
- Must not be affiliated with any Danish institution
📋 Reviewer Responsibilities:
- Review applications using a structured framework based on:
- Project Quality
- Candidate Excellence
- Feasibility
- Potential Impact
- Provide a numerical score (1–5) and short written comments
- Uphold DARA’s standards of academic rigor and fairness
- Respect confidentiality and declare any conflicts of interest
💶 Honorarium: €70 per evaluation
🗓️ Timeline:
- 12 September – Review assignments sent
- 15 October – Reviews due
- 31 October – Online consensus meetings completed
