Do a predoc, young people | The PhD code

By Kamoun, S. and Hogenhout, S.A.

Get out of your comfort zone. Go West!
Go west, this is what we’re gonna do.
Why not do a postdoc before you start your PhD?
Research, just like genius, is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.

The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
Do a predoc. young people!

Edgar Huitema (left, back) — the first predoc in Sophien’s lab.
