The NVIDIA Graduate Fellowship Program is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year. This prestigious program supports exceptional PhD students pushing the boundaries of accelerated computing, artificial intelligence, and related fields.
Since its launch in 2002, the program has awarded over 200 fellowships totaling more than $7.3 million. In 2025, NVIDIA celebrates 25 years of investing in academic talent, with awards of up to $60,000 per student, mentorship from leading researchers, and access to cutting-edge technology.

- 💰 Funding: Up to $60,000
- 🧑🔬 Eligibility: Open to PhD students worldwide (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Architecture, or related fields)
- 🌍 Internship: Mandatory in-person summer internship at an NVIDIA research office (U.S., Canada, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Israel, or Taiwan) prior to the fellowship year

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have completed at least one year of PhD-level studies by the time of application
- Be enrolled full-time during the 2026–2027 fellowship year (not graduating before June 2027)
- Be available for an in-person internship in summer 2026
- Submit at least two recommendation letters (including one from their thesis advisor)
Applicants may not be immediate family of current NVIDIA employees.

- A 2-page research summary/proposal (plus bibliography)
- Resume/CV
- Two to three letters of recommendation (one from thesis advisor required)
- Confirmation of internship availability
Submissions are managed entirely by the student through the NVIDIA submission portal. Recommendation letters must be uploaded before the deadline (noon PT, September 15, 2025), and final applications must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. PT the same day.
