We are delighted to announce that our next Mentor Konnect session will feature Dr. Narendra Chirmule, Co-founder of Symphony Tech Biologics, renowned drug development scientist, immunologist, author, and music enthusiast.
With an illustrious career spanning academia, biotech, and pharma, Dr. Chirmule has held key leadership roles:
- 🎯 Director of Biological Sciences, Symphony Tech Biologics – leading data-driven solutions at the intersection of biology and engineering
- 🧬 Former Head of R&D, Biocon (Bangalore)
- 💉 Executive Director, Amgen (USA)
- 🧪 Director, Merck Vaccines (USA)
Dr. Chirmule’s work has contributed to the clinical development of vaccines and biopharmaceuticals. He earned his PhD from the Cancer Research Institute, Mumbai (developing a leprosy vaccine), conducted postdoctoral research on AIDS pathogenesis at Cornell University Medical College, and taught gene therapy at the University of Pennsylvania.
He is also a TEDx speaker and author of Good Genes Gone Bad – a thought-provoking book on the importance of learning from failures.
