BioWISE Internship 2026: UG Internship and Scholarship Program for Women in STEM in Karnataka
We are excited to invite applications for the BioWISE Undergraduate Internship & Scholarship Programme, designed to empower the next generation of women in STEM across Karnataka.
🌿 BioWISE (Bio – Women in STEM Empowered) is a flagship initiative by the BeST – Bengaluru Science and Technology Cluster, in collaboration with Biocon Foundation (CSR arm of Biocon Biologics) and NCBS (National Centre for Biological Sciences) as the academic partner.
This unique initiative bridges academia, industry, and government, enabling women students to transition from academic learning to real-world research and innovation.

👩🔬 Who Can Apply?
✔️ Final-year female undergraduate students (Life Sciences & allied fields)
✔️ Minimum 75% academic performance
✔️ From Tier 2 / Tier 3 institutions in Karnataka
✔️ Family income below ₹6 lakh per annum
✔️ Strong interest in applied research
✔️ Willing to commit for 3 months
⭐ Preference will be given to first-generation learners
