The Austrian Academy of Sciences invites nominations for the prestigious APART-USA Fellowship, aimed at outstanding postdoctoral researchers currently affiliated with US institutions who wish to relocate their research to leading Austrian universities or research centers.
APART-USA Fellowship (Austria)
🔹 Fellowship Duration: 48 months
🔹 Total Fellowship Amount: €500,000 (75% from Austria’s national fund, 25% from host institution)
🔹 Target Group: Early-career scientists of any nationality with a PhD, affiliated with a U.S. research institution (as of Jan 1, 2025, or later)
🔹 Eligible Institutions: Top Austrian institutions (e.g., Univ. of Vienna, ISTA, TU Vienna, etc.)
🔹 Nomination Deadline: To be coordinated by host institution
🔹 Application Mode: By nomination only
📌 Candidates must be nominated by eligible Austrian host institutions, which will also employ and partially fund the fellow.
