π― Fellowship Structure
πΉ Phase 1: Postdoc (2 years) β 100,000 CHF/year
πΉ Phase 2: Principal Investigator (PI) (1 year) β 200,000 CHF for lab setup (excludes salary)
πΉ Goal: Secure a tenure-track or equivalent faculty position ποΈ
π Important Notes:

The PI phase funding covers lab expenses, equipment, and salaries for coworkers but not the granteeβs salary.
β
If a tenure-track position is not secured after two years, the funding will be terminated.
β
The PI phase can be pursued outside UZH but requires an adjunct affiliation with UZH.
π Eligibility Criteria
β Must be a Postdoc at UZH in molecular life sciences (not necessarily in the Department of Molecular Life Sciences).
β Must have at least one first-author (or co-first-author) publication.
β Should have a competitive profile to secure a faculty position within 48 months.
β Future UZH postdocs can apply if they provide proof of employment.
