đŻ Fellowship Structure
đš Phase 1: Postdoc (2 years) â 100,000 CHF/year
đš Phase 2: Principal Investigator (PI) (1 year) â 200,000 CHF for lab setup (excludes salary)
đš Goal: Secure a tenure-track or equivalent faculty position đď¸
đ Important Notes:
â
The PI phase funding covers lab expenses, equipment, and salaries for coworkers but not the granteeâs salary.
â
If a tenure-track position is not secured after two years, the funding will be terminated.
â
The PI phase can be pursued outside UZH but requires an adjunct affiliation with UZH.
đ Eligibility Criteria
â Must be a Postdoc at UZH in molecular life sciences (not necessarily in the Department of Molecular Life Sciences).
â Must have at least one first-author (or co-first-author) publication.
â Should have a competitive profile to secure a faculty position within 48 months.
â Future UZH postdocs can apply if they provide proof of employment.
