The Indian National Young Academy of Science (INYAS) is inviting applications for its 2026 membership intake! INYAS is a platform for outstanding young researchers to engage in science promotion, outreach, and national development through science leadership.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
- PhD in Science/Engineering OR MS/MD in Medical Sciences
- Age < 40 as on Dec 31, 2025 (Women: relaxation up to 41 years with justification)
- Must be an Indian citizen, residing and working in India
- Currently holding an academic position (temporary or permanent)
📢 Required Support Letters (any two of the following):
- Fellows of INSA, NASI, IASc, INAE, NAAS, NAMS, NAVS
- INYAS alumni
- Director/Head of Institute
- Head/Chairperson of Department
🎯 What’s Expected from INYAS Members?
- Active participation in INYAS programs
- Regular attendance at Annual General Meetings
- At least one research publication in a recognized Indian journal during the membership term
- Contribute to the science promotion mission of INYAS
- Adherence to INYAS code of conduct
