The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is now inviting applications for its Young Experts Program (YEP) – a prestigious 2-year opportunity in Geneva, Switzerland for early-career professionals passionate about innovation, intellectual property, and sustainable development.

🧠 What Is the Young Experts Program?
YEP is a competitive 24-month program where selected participants will:
- Work on real WIPO initiatives with technical and strategic relevance
- Build cross-cultural collaboration skills in a multilateral environment
- Gain deep knowledge in IP and its role in innovation and global growth
- Receive mentoring and leadership development

📍 Program Location & Dates
- Location: WIPO Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland
- Program Duration: February 1, 2026 – January 31, 2028
- Application Deadline: August 14, 2025
- Onboarding: December 2025 – January 2026
- Orientation Session: January 2026
✅ Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be under 35 years old at the time of application
- Hold at least a first-level university degree
- Have minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate:
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong research, analytical & organizational abilities
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Have knowledge/interest in IP, innovation, or creative industries
📌 Note: Participants cannot apply for any WIPO job during the program or for one year afterward.
