C-CAMP Launches Wadhwani Innovation Network (WIN) CoE to Boost Biotech Commercialization in India
In a major push toward strengthening India’s deep-tech and life sciences ecosystem, C-CAMP has partnered with the Wadhwani Foundation to establish the Wadhwani Innovation Network (WIN) Centre of Excellence in Bioengineering and Biotechnology.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap between research and commercialization, enabling academic discoveries and startup innovations to evolve into scalable, industry-ready solutions. By fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration, the program aligns with India’s broader vision of science-led economic growth and global leadership in biotechnology.
💰 Funding Opportunity: Up to ₹1 Crore (Non-Dilutive)
The WIN CoE offers non-dilutive funding of up to INR 1 crore per selected project, targeting innovations that are ready for translation and scaling.
Funding support will cover:
- Pilot and validation studies
- Prototype refinement
- Scaling-up of technologies
- Generation of additional data for next-stage funding
