Are you a UC Davis postdoctoral scholar or PhD candidate (advanced to candidacy by June 2025) passionate about transforming cutting-edge research into real-world solutions for human and planetary health?

Join a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and work in Denmark for six months as part of the California–Denmark Innovator Fellowship, gaining unparalleled access to:

🔍 What You’ll Experience

🌱 Winter (Jan–Mar 2026):
Conduct use-inspired research at a top Danish university through the START network, understanding how science is aligned with societal challenges from the outset.

🚀 Spring (Apr–Jun 2026):
Gain hands-on experience in startup incubators like BioInnovation Institute (Novo Nordisk Foundation) or DTU Skylab, contributing to real go-to-market activities.

🤝 Upon Return (UC Davis, Summer 2026):
Engage with Danish fellows, present your work at the Innovation Institute for Food and Health (IIFH), and build long-term partnerships across continents.

🧪 Who Should Apply?

We’re looking for UC Davis-based:

• PhD students (passed QE before June 2025)
• Postdoctoral scholars

Research Areas:

• Food & Agricultural Science/Engineering
• Nutrition & Metabolic Health
• Planetary or Environmental Health
• Computational/Data Science applied to above fields
• Related disciplines with real-world impact potential

📌 Must have PI support to be away for two quarters.
