Exciting MTech thesis or a paid internship opportunity for BTech/MSc students in Biomedical Polymer/Device Characterization.
We are looking for a motivated MTech/BTech student to join our team and contribute to the biological characterization of novel polymers used for Class III biomedical device along with device characterization under in-Vitro/in-Vivo conditions.
This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience with critical assays such as biocompatibility, hemolysis, platelet adhesion, and cell viability—all essential for ensuring patient safety and meeting international regulatory standards. The role involves complex, labor-intensive testing, meticulous sample preparation, data collection, and thorough documentation. Your work will directly support our regulatory submissions and help us maintain project timelines for this high-impact device.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tests including hemocompatibility, biocompatibility, cytotoxicity, platelet adhesion, and cell viability
• Assist in establishing experimental setups and supporting additional characterizations
• Ensure the material’s suitability for biomedical applications
This role is ideal for candidates with:
• A strong background or keen interest in biomaterials or biomedical research.
• Coordinating in-Vivo characterization with external agency and setting in-house in-vitro characterization protocol.
• Passion for advancing research at the intersection of materials science and biology.
