About Ashoka-Zeiss Core Imaging Facility:
Ashoka – Zeiss Core Imaging Facility is a collaborative effort between Ashoka University and Zeiss Research Microscopy Solutions (Carl Zeiss) to establish a facility that offers the latest and cutting-edge research microscopy technology for students and researchers. This facility is intended to provide physical access to the highly sophisticated microscopes from Zeiss, which are installed on the Ashoka University campus (Trivedi School of Biosciences block) for research. The facility will start operating with four research microscopes from Zeiss, namely Lattice Lightsheet 7, Elyra 7 LS (Lattice SIM2) with Dual sCMOS Camera, LSM 980 NLO, and Cell Discoverer 7 with LSM 900 Airyscan.
These microscopes can offer advanced research support in fields such as Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Microbiology, Cancer Research, Structural Biology, Plant Sciences, Virology, Biophysics, Soft Condensed Matter Physics, Environmental Science, Synthetic Biology, Pathology, Biomechanics, and Pharmacology.
Ashoka University intends to open access to this facility to students, researchers and academicians from universities and research institutes in various parts of the country who are looking for a cutting edge microscopy solution for their research.
