From India to the World: Tricog Showcases AI-Powered Cardiac Care to Global Leaders at BRICS 2026
Bengaluru-based health-tech company presents its cardiac intelligence platform to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Vladimir Putin, President Xi Jinping and other global leaders at the BRICS Bharat Innovates Exposition in New Delhi
New Delhi 18th September 2026: What began 12 years ago as a mission to ensure that a patient does not lose precious time during a cardiac emergency because specialist expertise is too far away reached one of its most significant global stages this week.
At the BRICS Bharat Innovates Exposition 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Tricog Health presented its AI-powered cardiac care technology to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Heads of State and senior leaders attending the BRICS Summit.
For Tricog, the interaction represented more than a high-profile technology showcase. It was an opportunity to demonstrate how technology built in India is increasingly addressing healthcare problems shared by countries worldwide, particularly the challenge of delivering specialist-quality care to populations where clinical expertise is scarce or unevenly distributed.
The Tricog team, represented during the leadership interaction by Prateek Golecha, Chief Growth Officer, and Nidhi Kohli Nandode, AVP Marketing, demonstrated how the company combines artificial intelligence, connected medical devices, cloud technology and clinical expertise to enable faster detection and management of cardiovascular disease.
The exposition was organised by the Union Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, on September 11 and 12 as part of the 18th BRICS Summit under India’s 2026 BRICS Chairmanship. Thirty-seven Indian deep-tech innovators were selected to showcase technologies spanning healthcare, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, robotics, clean energy and other frontier sectors. Bharat Innovates is a national programme of the Ministry of Education designed to connect Indian research and deep-tech innovation with global markets, investors, institutions and governments.
The context gives the Tricog presentation particular significance. BRICS countries today represent close to half of the world’s population and around 40 percent of global GDP. Under India’s chairship, the grouping has placed innovation prominently within its theme of “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability.”
For healthcare companies, that scale also represents a formidable challenge. Cardiovascular disease remains one of the largest causes of mortality globally, while access to cardiologists, advanced diagnostics and organised cardiac-care pathways varies dramatically between major cities and underserved regions.
Tricog was created around precisely this gap.

Tricog’s technology connects cardiac diagnostic devices and healthcare facilities to an AI-enabled platform that can analyse clinical information, flag abnormalities, and identify patients requiring urgent attention. The technology is combined with medical expertise and care-coordination workflows, enabling clinicians to move from detection towards appropriate treatment more rapidly.
The company has subsequently expanded beyond acute ECG diagnosis into areas including AI-assisted echocardiography, cardiovascular risk stratification and remote monitoring, creating what it describes as an integrated cardiac intelligence ecosystem.
The distinction is important. In Tricog’s model, AI is designed as a way to augment and multiply clinical capacity and ensure that expertise can travel digitally when the specialist cannot.

According to Tricog, its technology has now been used to diagnose more than 40 million patients and has helped save more than 1 million lives. The company has deployments across healthcare settings ranging from individual clinics and diagnostic networks to hospitals and population-scale public health programmes. Its stated ambition is to make high-quality cardiac care accessible to 100 million people by 2030.
That combination of advanced technology and deployment at a population scale also reflects the broader proposition India brought to Bharat Innovates: that Indian deep-tech companies are increasingly building not only for India, but for healthcare systems around the world.
For Tricog, the opportunity is particularly relevant in emerging economies and Global South markets, where disease burden can be high, but specialist infrastructure cannot expand at the same pace.

The Ministry of Education conceived Bharat Innovates as precisely such a bridge between Indian innovation and international opportunity. The programme seeks to move promising technologies beyond laboratories and domestic deployments by creating access to global industry, capital, research institutions and governments. Its BRICS edition provided participating innovators with direct exposure to political and business leadership from some of the world’s largest emerging economies. For Tricog, standing before BRICS leaders therefore marked both a milestone and a continuation of its original mission.
The problem it began with remains deceptively simple: a patient should not lose their life because the right expertise could not reach them in time.
This focus on translating technology into population-scale impact is also shaping Tricog’s work within India. Later this month, the Government of Goa, in association with Tricog Health, will convene the National CVD Summit 2026 in Goa from September 25–27, bringing together policymakers, government health leaders, clinicians, public health experts, academic institutions, and technology stakeholders from across the country. The Summit will focus on closing one of the biggest gaps in cardiovascular care: the distance between screening and timely treatment. Designed around the complete care continuum, from risk identification and diagnosis to treatment, follow-up and monitoring, the initiative aims to drive greater alignment on scalable care pathways, clinical protocols and the effective use of technology. Importantly, it is intended to move beyond discussion towards tangible outcomes, including policy recommendations, standardised protocols, partnership commitments and a National CVD Summit Declaration.
